I know what you're thinking, this sounds pretty wild, what exactly is the Voice of Rock Project? The mission here is to sidestep the standard 50's -
70's pop selections you'd normally associate with a cappella singing and instead focus on good ol' fashioned rock and roll arrangements. Actually we have a
soft spot for oldies pop too, its all good. But rock 'n roll has it's own sound, and that's our nitch. We were a five part group, having picked up Jean
Sarantos, but were in the market for a baritone/tenor to make us six. We started performing in October of 2012.
We are looking to walk festivals, sing at events, open for some classic rock groups and perform the occasional party. Our normal direction would include songs by artist like Modern English, Aerosmith, Peter Gabriel and the like. But we've been able to quickly adapt to more seasonal opportunities, developing and learning songs for various holiday celebrations. Hope to be singing for you soon!!
